Ain’t it funny to see a washed up actor/comedian who has made their entire living in Hollywood, go far right with their politics once their career hits bottom and decide that now that they are republicans they must bash the media, and the industry that made them famous? Think of people like Stephen Baldwin, Lou Ferrigno, Jackie Mason, Chuck Norris, Patrica Heaton, Fred Thompson etc…
If you’ve followed Saturday Night Live for as long as I have you may have a memory or two of the resident ditz cast member from the 80’s Victoria Jackson.
I was shocked when I heard about her hateful ill informed rant of Obama on Fox News. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the least talented and the most unsuccessful former cast member of SNL ended up being a republican for McCain. It’s just that I can’t believe Fox didn’t do more research before letting this dim witted blonde speak her mind.
I can’t help but think in the back of my mind that this segment on Fox’s Bill O’Reilly was some kind of gotcha career comeback “performance art” turned on Fox by a clever cunning Jackson. Most likely there isn’t anything that intelligent going on here. It’s probably just some prescription medication, mixed with booze and a very low IQ.
Another washed up has been Jeanine Turner from “Northern Exposure” was sharing her views and although they were also fear based and biased, she had a coherent way of expressing herself unlike Victoria Jackson.
